Amazon has started registrations for the 23 August NOKIA 6 flash-sale

When HMD Global had announced the NOKIA handsets for India, the NOKIA 6 was listed as an Amazon exclusive. Apart from being an e-retail exclusive handset, it was said that registrations for purchase would commence from today with no details on the date of availability. Finally, we have reached the day of registration and it has been revealed that the registered users are eligible for a flash-sale of the NOKIA 6 scheduled for 23 August.

To make the smartphone more enticing in the sea of competition, Amazon has decided to go all out with the offers. If you are a subscriber to the e-retail behemoth’s Prime service you are eligible for a ₹1,000 cashback in your Amazon Pay balance. Vodafone customers get an additional 45GB of data for free for the next five months on purchase of the handset. Furthermore, if you download the Kindle application you are eligible for an 80% discount on all e-books worth ₹300. Also, a NOKIA 6 buyer can get up to ₹2,500 worth of discounts on MakeMyTrip (₹1,800 on hotel and ₹700 for flight bookings). The NOKIA 6 was the first smartphone released by HMD Global in its path to reviving the NOKIA brand. Initially seeing a limited release early in the year in China, the smartphone has steadily been introduced to more and more markets over the months. Currently, the premium mid-ranger is priced at ₹14,999 (~$235) on Amazon India.
